confronting another Axis, looking at historical parallels to the budding and active conflicts now, and possible directions. It isn't pretty. In WWII, none of the Axis powers (including USSR) had
a reasonable hope of dealing serious damage to the US homeland. That's not so true anymore with our current set of adversaries, and we're badly exposed overseas as well.
He's pretty sure China will use air and sea border controls to try to control Taiwan--not a blockade or an invasion. That puts us over a barrel.
