I think he's spot on with this. I have a friend who occasionally reminds me that we don't have the strange new world we were told was coming. We are transported in the same way. There is something different about having the entirely-portable telephone that can access information from everywhere, anywhere you go: maps, music, reference works. That has created a noticeable cultural change that a kindle has not.

I remember you asked before, and I couldn't find a reference in the library (!).

I think my take on measurement differs from his, though his Thomist categories may still apply. I need to think it over a bit. Thanks for pointing this out again.
