As the next generation has learned: If your kid wakes you up in the morning saying "I don't feel good," you have about 30 seconds to get them to the sink before the trouble starts.
My oldest used to say "my heart's beating" whenever he felt sick, presumably because he went to the doctor's where they listened to his heart sometimes when he was sick.
That was the cue, but I didn't make it in time, even though I ran across the house carrying him at arm's length, facing away. All over himself, rugs, and me. He then said "I feel much better, Dad," at which point you can only say "I'm glad you feel better, son," and pack everyone and everything into the shower at once. He remembers it as a fun time, as I cleaned him first and set him outside the curtain, where he ran about the house naked and unsupervised for about ten minutes.
